Welcome to the Coona CTC Blog

Hi!

Allison here, the Friday morning volunteer for the Coona CTC and the person who put together this BEAUTIFUL website (if I do say so myself). This blog is written by the volunteers of the CTC and will cover all of the exciting things that are happening down here at the CTC.

The CTC is always in need of volunteers and spending some time here helping out always looks good on a resume. I am sure Monica will be posting more about what you need to do to become a volunteer.

I haven’t been here long, just a couple of months, and having only moved to Coonabarabran this January its been a great way to learn more about the town and get to meet people. I must say I enjoy my time behind the front desk.

Anyway, keep dropping by the blog to catch up with what’s happening or drop in with chocolate!

    Allison can well be proud of this site – it looks great and I can’t wait to get started. But more from me on volunteering later. Meanwhile, come and see what we do, anytime. We just love visitors! BUT we like customers more! So, if you have something you want copied or laminated or faxed the CTC is the place to be. We like it best when we are kept busy.
    I am an oldie and a 5 year veteran and I just love it.

    Down here at the CTC and all is well. Had a customer in here this morning who asked if it was OKAY to hire a computer because she was not a local or a member….. ???
    She mentioned that some CTC’s give preference to locals over visitors for PC use or you had to become a member.
    No such restrictions at Coonabarabran.
    We will welcome you with open arms.

    eR g’DAY!
    Do you feel like you should give something back to the community?Would you like to do some form of community volunteering but not sure what? Do you have a spare afternoon or morning once a week?
    The CTC is always in need of volunteers to help run the place so that we can be of service to others. Call in and chat to one of our on duty volunteers and get an application pack. With some initial training you too could be helping out at your local CTC real soon.
    Think about it! Seriously! ;-)
