Gundhidjuul means
"little home". Once a farm hand's cottage, it has two bedrooms, one
with a double bed, the other with a double bunk. There is a combined
kitchen/living area with another two mattresses in a loft above. Gundhidjuul
is not on mains power. Cooking can be done on the slow combustion wood
fired stove or on a double gas ring burner. Solar power provides lighting
and a gas fridge keeps your food cool. Hot water is from the water fountain
on the wood stove. About ten metres from the backdoor is the bucket
shower and outside toilet. The bucket shower gives a good three minute
shower and the toilet offers a fantastic view of the very grand Bulleamble
Mountain through the custom built window. Gundhidjuul as with the other
cabins, has alfresco dining facilities. Gundhidjuul is one hundred metres
from the main house.
