CLIMATE
At Tibuc we are 650 metres above sea level. Tibuc has beautiful clear night skies full of stars. Astronomers have taken advantage of the clear skies and Siding Springs Observatory is just up the road.
Another advantage of being so high up is that in summer, after a hot day playing in the 'cement pond' (Tibuc's answer to the swimming pool- a concrete water tank filled by a continual stream of spring water), it cools down at night.
Blankets are needed all year round. Winter nights are cold.
